John was born here in Granite City, IL. Not having much money his parents struggled to keep food on the table while trying to pay for school, taxes and church. Soon after he was born his parents were blessed with another son and daughter (Josh & Christine). So needless to say this did not help the financial situation.
Then as they grew so did his parents careers and they were able to provide a stable middle class life.
Johns father is a Biochemist and Lab Manager at Washington University and his mother is the head of Research for PPB Cancer in Washington D.C.

His Brother formerly an educator for children with Autism, now works as a Band Director for Giles County in Tennessee and his Sister is currently Majoring in Psychology at SIUE.

Having worn the shoes of poverty, a middle class home and now a successful businessman and entrepreneur; John has seen and dealt with many of the issues all of us are facing today.

With a broad range of experience in the business sector, nonprofit sector, and in government, John will be a voice for independence and integrity in Madison County. He advocates comprehensive reforms to the political system, so that politicians will place the public interest above special interests to improve our Community, Schools, Health Care, Environment, Transportation Systems, and Economy.
